Colour with a Parisian spirit.
Caroline Abram
Eyewear at i2i Optometrists, Glasgow
Caroline Abram’s story begins in Paris, where her work in optical fashion developed through her experience as an optician. In 1998 she began creating accessories, before turning her attention to frames in 2008. Her approach brings together a distinctively feminine sensibility, colour and a strong interest in how a frame changes the character of a face.
The collection is recognised for vivid colour, sculptural forms and details that give familiar silhouettes an individual twist. Rather than relying on restrained uniformity, Abram explores playful contrasts and confident shapes, balancing elegance with a lively, sometimes theatrical mood. Individual lines move between everyday wearability and more visibly statement-making designs.
The designer’s experience across accessories and optical frames informs the way materials, colour and proportion work together. Acetate can provide a rich canvas for layered tones, while carefully considered shapes create visual definition. The brand’s identity is expressed through these choices rather than through a single signature silhouette.
Its Parisian roots, colourful design language and fashion-led outlook give the label a recognisable character.
